Chocolate for breakfast?! Yes please!
This is such a yummy breakfast but also makes for a great snack.
Chocolate Quinoa Bowl
1 c uncooked white quinoa
2 c water or milk of your choice
pinch of salt
2 T unsweetened cocoa powder
2-3 T honey or coconut sugar
½ pure vanilla extract
1 drop nutmeg vitality essential oil
1 drop cinnamon vitality essential oil
3-4 squares dark chocolate
Cook quinoa in 2 cups water and salt until tender and liquid is absorbed, stirring often. Remove from heat and add cocoa powder, honey, vanilla, essential oils. Stir to combine. Adjust flavor as needed.
Serve each bowl with some chocolate and desired toppings. It is best when fresh, but leftovers will keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
